Type 'A' Gauge Cutter
The Rebco Type 'A' Gauge Cutter is a multi-functional tool engineered for various wireline applications. Its primary function is to remove paraffin, corrosion, and other foreign materials from the internal diameter (ID) of the tubing string. The Gauge Cutter is also used to gauge and tag obstructions within the tubing and to locate and tag landing nipples in the wellbore.
Note: It is strongly recommended that a Gauge Cutter be run prior to deploying any subsurface controls. This ensures that the controls can pass freely through the tubing without obstruction.
Gauge Cutters are available in custom sizes within the nominal outside diameter (OD) range. For size options, refer to Table 1.
