Type 'ROTGSL' Pulling Tool Assembly
Rebco Types 'ROTGSL' Pulling Tool is designed to retrieve Type 'ROTD' Collar Lock Mandrel, see PRODUCT CODE 10. The tool can be released by jarring down.
NOTE: Type 'ROTGSL' Pulling Tool has extended Core (longer reach), and it should be used only to retrieve Type 'ROTD' Collar Lock Mandrel.
Retrieving Sub-Surface devices with Internal Fishing Necks; there are many occasions where a need for Shear Up to release Pulling Tool is an advantage. Type 'ROTGU' Shear-Up Adapter used with Type 'ROTGS' and Type 'ROTGSL' Pulling Tools converts the combined Tools to Type 'ROTGR'/ 'ROTGRL' Pulling Tool Assembly respectively.
Type 'ROTGR' Pulling Tool ('ROTGS'/ 'ROTGU') can be released by upward jarring action.
NOTE: When the Type 'ROTGR' tool is used, only the Shear Pin in the Shear-Up Adapter can be used. The Shear Pin must be removed from the 'ROTGS' portion of the Tool. This Shear Pin (in the Type 'ROTGS' Tool) cannot be sheared when the 'ROTGU' Shear-Up Adapter is attached to the Type 'ROTGS' Pulling Tool.
