Rebco Anchor Type Stops are depth-positioning and reactive anchoring devices engineered specifically to be made up directly to the bottom connection of the Rebco ROTAO Mechanical Tubing Perforator and run as a combined unit. Unlike conventional wireline stops that are set independently before the perforator is deployed, Anchor Type Stops are assembled as part of the perforator string itself, the perforator and its anchor stop descend to the target depth together, the stop sets to anchor the assembly against the tubing wall or a collar recess, and the perforator then fires its punch against the set anchor's reactive footing. This co-assembly approach eliminates the need for a separate setting run, simplifies the operation to a single wireline trip, and ensures the perforator punch always fires from a positively anchored, depth-confirmed position rather than relying solely on tool string weight to keep the perforator stationary during punch activation.

Two anchor configurations are available to suit different tubing completion types:

CS Collar Stop Anchor

The CS Collar Stop Anchor seats within the collar recess of the tubing string, directly below the intended perforation depth, and engages the collar groove to provide a positive, fixed landing point. The CS is preferred when the target perforation depth coincides with, or can be positioned relative to, a known collar location, as the collar recess provides the most positive and reliable mechanical seat available within the tubing bore. The stop is retrieved as a unit with the perforator after the perforation cycle is complete. A special collet OD version of the 3½" CS is available for applications where the stop must pass through a 2.750" nipple seal bore before seating in the collar below. Available in 2"–4½" nominal sizes, with ODs of 1.998"–3.75" set in place.

TS Slip Stop Anchor

The TS Slip Stop Anchor seats anywhere within the smooth bore of the tubing string, independent of collar locations, using hardened, serrated slip elements that engage the tubing wall when activated. A rapid downward jar movement expands the slips outward against the tubing wall, locking the anchor in position, releasing the running connection, and leaving the perforator anchored and ready to fire. The TS is used when the target perforation depth falls between collar locations, when the completion design lacks a collar at the required interval, or when the operator requires flexibility to place the perforation at any specific depth without being constrained by collar spacing. The TS is retrieved as a unit with the perforator after the perforation cycle is complete. Available in 2"–4½" nominal sizes.

Important: Anchor Type Stops are designed to be run as a unit with the ROTAO Tubing Perforator; they are not general-purpose wireline stops. Always confirm that the CS or TS type matches the tubing completion before running. Downward jarring on the perforator assembly will break the punch. Activate the perforator with upward jarring only after the anchor is confirmed set
