CENTRALIZERS
Centralizers – Types A, B, C, AD, AR, AT (Product Code 118)
The Rebco Centralizers are in-string accessories designed to keep the instrument assembly centred within the tubing bore as it travels downhole. In deviated or directional wells, gravity causes the tool string to lie against one side of the tubing bore, which can result in uneven wear on the instrument or instrument carrier, restrictions through tubing upsets, and inaccurate depth readings due to friction. Centralizers with spring bows or blades extend outward from the tool body to contact the tubing wall on multiple sides simultaneously, keeping the assembly centred in the bore throughout the trip in and out of the hole.
Six centralizer configurations are available: Types A, B, C, AD, AR, and AT, each with different bow or blade geometry suited to specific well conditions, tubing sizes, and deviation profiles. Contact Rebco for guidance on selecting the configuration based on well deviation and tubing size.
How to Order: Product Code 118. Specify centralizer type, nominal size, and well deviation profile when ordering. Contact Rebco for configuration selection guidance.
