EO Roller Stem (Weight Bar)
The Rebco EO Roller Stem is a standard alloy steel stem fitted with rollers to reduce friction between the tool string and the tubing wall during wireline work in deviated or corkscrew wellbores. In deviated wells, conventional solid stems drag along the low side of the tubing under gravity, creating resistance that can prevent the tool string from reaching total depth, reduce jarring effectiveness, and accelerate wear on both the tubing and the stem body. The rollers, mounted on captive dowel pins, allow the stem to roll along the tubing wall rather than slide, significantly reducing drag forces. Roller diameters are sized to suit specific tubing IDs and must be specified at the time of order. Available in lengths of 2 ft, 3 ft, and 5 ft, with 2, 3, or 4 rollers per section, in standard threaded connections, 1¼"–2½" OD. On plastic-coated or chromium-finished tubing strings, nylon rollers can be specified to prevent abrasive damage that could initiate corrosion.
