ROTFSB Instrument Hanger Assembly

The Rebco ROTFSB Instrument Hanger is purpose-built to land and lock geophysical instruments within BF Landing Nipples, capturing reservoir pressure and temperature data at the nipple's set depth. Its Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly is based on the ROTS-1/2 Lock Mandrel, a selectively set, seal-bore profile mandrel that positions the instrument at precisely the correct depth within the BF nipple and holds it there under wellbore pressure and flow conditions without movement.

The ROTFSB is run using the ROTC-1 Running Tool with a matched Locating Ring and retrieved using an RB, SB, or JDC Pulling Tool. For ROTFSB hangers specifically, the BB Probe is required as part of the pulling accessory, as the Lock Mandrel Sub Assembly's small-bore internal fishing neck configuration cannot be accessed by a standard pulling tool core. The BB Probe is available in both Short and Long lengths to accommodate the variation in fishing neck depth that occurs across different ROTS Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly configurations.

Available in nominal sizes 2⅜" through 4½", covering seal bore sizes from 1.781" to 3.813", in both Amerada and Sucker Rod box thread connections.

How to Order: Specify nominal size, seal bore size, and box thread connection type (Amerada ¾"–16 or Sucker Rod 15/16"–10). The assembly consists of the ROTS-1/2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly and the Hanger Sub, which can also be ordered separately. Contact Rebco for sizes outside the standard range or for special-material requirements.
