ROTFWB Instrument Hanger Assembly
The Rebco ROTFWB Instrument Hanger performs the same function as the ROTFSB, landing and locking geophysical instruments in BF Landing Nipples, but is built around a ROTW-1/2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly rather than the ROTS-1/2. The ROTW mandrel profile uses a different locking mechanism that engages the BF nipple in a distinct way, making the ROTFWB the correct selection when the completion string's BF nipple has been designed for the ROTW mandrel interface, or when well conditions or operator preference favour the ROTW locking method over ROTS-type engagement.
An important operational distinction applies when running the ROTFWB: the ROTC-1 Running Tool must be fitted with a Thread Protector rather than a Locating Ring when deploying the ROTFWB. This protects the running tool's internal box thread from debris contamination during the trip downhole, a step that is not required for the ROTFSB. Retrieval uses the ROTC-1 with the BB Probe pulling accessory, consistent with the ROTFSB retrieval procedure.
Available in nominal sizes 2⅜" through 4½", in both Amerada and Sucker Rod box thread connections.
How to Order: Specify nominal size, seal bore size, and box thread connection (Amerada ¾"–16 or Sucker Rod 15/16"–10). Specify ROTFWB to distinguish from ROTFSB when ordering. Ensure the ROTC-1 Running Tool is ordered with a Thread Protector rather than a Locating Ring.
