ROTRQ Lock Mandrel Assembly with Safety Spring and Shear Pin(s)
The Rebco ROTRQ is a Top No-Go Lock Mandrel, specifically engineered to land and lock Sub-Surface Safety Valves (SSSVs) in ROTRQ Landing Nipples. The Top No-Go configuration places the No-Go shoulder at the upper end of the assembly, which seats against the nipple's No-Go profile to positively stop downward travel and hold the Safety Valve in a precise position. The Safety Spring and Shear Pin(s) feature locks that lock the Key Expander Sleeve under flowing conditions, preventing the lock from releasing due to forces generated by high-velocity flow through the safety valve.
The ROTRQ is available in four standard sizes with nipple seal bores of 3.813", 4.125", 4.562", and 6.000", covering the most commonly required bore range for Sub-Surface Safety Valve installations. Larger sizes and non-standard configurations are available on inquiry. The ROTRQ uses the dedicated ROTRX Running Tool; retrieval is performed using the standard ROTGR Pulling Tool.
