The Rebco SS is the medium-reach version of the SB, using the same shear-down release mechanism and external fishing neck dog engagement geometry, but with a core configured to engage fishing necks that sit deeper below the landing nipple top than the SB's short-reach core can access. The SS is the natural field companion to the SB: when an operator attempts to retrieve a device with the SB and finds that the dogs are not fully latching, typically identified by the tool passing through the fishing neck without engaging, switching to the SS with its deeper reach resolves the issue without requiring a completely different pulling tool family.

The SS shares the SB's full accessory suite (Pinning Tool Assembly, Releasing Tool, Core Wrench, Core Nut Wrench) and the same core-replacement design philosophy, allowing field crews to maintain a compact tool inventory while covering both short- and medium-reach requirements with a single dog/body style.

Available in nominal sizes 1½" through 4", engaging fishing neck ODs from 1.187" to 3.125". Alloy construction throughout.
