SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly

Rebco Slip Stops are wireline-set mechanical anchoring devices that seat and grip within the smooth bore of the tubing string, rather than within a collar recess, using hardened slip elements that bite into the tubing wall when load is applied. This allows a positive, depth-controlled landing point to be established at any chosen depth within the tubing string, independent of collar locations. Once the slips engage, the stop resists both upward and downward movement, providing a firm reactive footing for tools that require a fixed anchor point during their actuation sequence. Slip Stops are particularly valuable in tubing strings where collar locations do not coincide with the optimal tool setting depth, or where the completion design does not include a dedicated landing nipple at the required interval. Retrieved by applying a controlled upward jar load to disengage the slips from the tubing wall. Available in multiple OD ranges to suit all standard tubing sizes and threaded connections.
