A Blind Box
The Rebco A Blind Box is a solid metal tool designed to jar obstructions downward through the tubing string, moving them to a position where they pose minimal disruption to operations. Additionally, the Blind Box serves as a method for parting the wireline at the rope socket, enabling the wireline retrieval using appropriate fishing tools.

Applications
Mechanically displacing sand bridges, scale accumulations, and debris obstructions downward through the tubing string.
Breaking up and driving through partially set scale or mineral deposits in the tubing bore
Cutting parted wireline at the rope socket during fishing operations by free-drop or jar-down action
Confirming tubing bore obstructions by depth-tagging during pre-job gauge runs.

Blind Boxes can be manufactured in custom sizes within the nominal outside diameter (OD) range. For specifications, refer to Table 1.
