ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly
The Rebco BO Positioning (Shifting) Tool is a wireline-deployed service tool designed to shift the inner sleeve of a compatible and approved Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side door to its open or closed position. The tool engages a corresponding recess at the upper or lower end of the sleeve, allowing the operator to move the sleeve by controlled jarring. Standard keys are designed to release after the sleeve reaches the end of its travel, while selective-key configurations are available for specified multi-sleeve applications.

Applications
Opening or closing the inner sleeve of compatible and approved Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side doors.
Performing wireline sleeve-shifting operations by engaging the applicable upper or lower sleeve recess and applying controlled jarring.
Operating a selected lower compatible XA or RA sleeve in a multi-sleeve completion when equipped with the appropriate selective keys.
Key Benefits
Bidirectional sleeve operation: Enables compatible sliding sleeves to be shifted to an open or closed position.
Automatic-release function: Standard key profiles are designed to disengage after the sleeve has completed its full open or closed travel, where applicable.
Selective-key option: Selective keys can be specified for applications requiring a lower compatible sleeve to be shifted without engaging sleeves above it.
Notes
Compatibility: The Rebco BO Positioning (Shifting) Tool may be used only when the selected assembly, key configuration, and dimensions are approved for the applicable Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side door. Confirm the sliding-side-door ID, sleeve recess dimensions, tool OD, expanded key OD, fishing neck, connection, and complete wireline tool-string configuration before use.
Restriction: The tool is not intended to pass through a Position 1, Type S landing nipple. Verify all completion restrictions and the planned access path before deployment.
Selective Keys: Selective keys do not use the standard automatic-release profile. If the sleeve does not complete its travel, release depends on the shear-pin mechanism. Specify selective keys at the time of ordering when required for a multi-sleeve application.
Service Support: Rebco supplies applicable spare components and replacement parts. Provide the tool assembly, side-door ID, connection, and required key configuration when requesting parts or service.
