CVR - CVRN & CVX - CVXN Check Valve (Standing Valve) Assembly

Check Valve Assembly holds pressure from above only while allowing the pressure and fluid by-pass from below.


The Check Valve Assembly is run/pull into the well as any other 'Equalizing Valve Type Plug Choke' within the Nominal Size and compatible profile type. (See Section XVI)

Applications

  • Locked-in-place standing valve function in ROTR/ROTRN (CVR/CVRN) or ROTX/ROTXN (CVX/CVXN) Landing Nipples

  • Any application where a No-Go-seated check valve (ROTFB-2/ROTRB-2) does not provide sufficient anchoring security against upward pressure surges

  • Wells where the check valve must remain locked in position under variable upward pressure conditions from below

  • Profile-matched variants for both ROTR/ROTRN (CVR/CVRN) and ROTX/ROTXN (CVX/CVXN) nipple families

  • Allows pressure and fluid bypass from below while holding test or barrier pressure from above

  • Equalizing ports can be enlarged to accommodate higher bypass flow requirements.

  • Run and pull using the same tooling as Equalizing Valve Type Plug Choke assemblies, no dedicated special tooling required.

NOTE: The equalizing ports of the modified Equalizing Valve Sub can be enlarged to suit.
