Type 'ROTXN' Lock Mandrel Assembly

Rebco Type 'ROTXN' Lock Mandrel has chamfered keys, and when a Bottom Sub is added, it becomes a No-Go Lock Mandrel. It is to be landed in a Type 'ROTXN' Landing Nipple of the same size.

  • Safety Spring Feature is a positive locking feature preventing the Lock Mandrel to unlock due to some forces caused by well conditions.


  • Shear Pin (DET 11) is installed prior to running the Lock into the well, once set, the Shear Pin lodges itself between the Expander Sleeve (DET 2) and Key Retainer (DET 3), creating Positive feature.
