CO Rope Sockets
The Rebco CO Rope Socket is a calibrated percentage-slip style rope socket designed for small stranded (braided) lines up to 5/16" diameter. Internal slips within the socket are pre-calibrated to release and part the line at a controlled percentage of its tensile strength, protecting the wireline from parting at an unknown location uphole. When the line parts, it does so at the socket, leaving a clean, standardized fishing neck for recovery. The most commonly ordered calibration is Slips 80, meaning the slips are set to release at 80% of the line's tensile strength. Available 1¼"–2½" OD.
