CVR - CVRN & CVX - CVXN Check Valve (Standing Valve) Assembly
The Rebco CVR/CVRN and CVX/CVXN Check Valve Assembly is a Lock Mandrel-based standing valve that holds pressure from above only while allowing pressure and fluid to freely bypass from below. Unlike the ROTFB-2 and ROTRB-2 check valves, which simply rest on a No-Go shoulder, the CVR/CVX assembly incorporates a Lock Mandrel that actively keys and locks into the Landing Nipple profile, providing a mechanically secured check valve installation that cannot be dislodged by upward fluid surges from below.
The CVR variants are designed for ROTR and ROTRN nipple profiles, while the CVX variants are designed for ROTX and ROTXN profiles. The assembly is run and pulled exactly as any other Equalizing Valve Type Plug or Choke within the compatible nominal size and nipple profile (see Section XVI for full Equalizing Valve Sub details). The equalizing ports on the modified Equalizing Valve Sub can be enlarged to suit specific well flow conditions if required.
How to Order: Product Code 14. Specify profile type (CVR/CVRN for ROTR/ROTRN nipples; CVX/CVXN for ROTX/ROTXN nipples), nominal size, and material required. Specify enlarged equalizing port size if required.
