ROTR Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly
The Rebco ROTR Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly is designed specifically for use with ROTR and ROTRN Lock Mandrels and covers nipple seal bores from 1.500" to 3.813". The sub-assembly is built with a No-Go OD that is machined slightly undersized relative to the nipple seal bore, ensuring it passes into the nipple without engaging the landing profile and functions purely as an equalizing device. It allows pressure differentials to be safely equalized across the Lock Mandrel and flow control device before retrieval is attempted from the respective Landing Nipple. The ROTR Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly is available with or without an End Cap; the "without Cap" version carries the suffix "-1" on the assembly number for applications where the cap is not required.
All sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy, certified for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75, and both Box and Pin thread connections are included on each sub-assembly to match the corresponding Lock Mandrel bottom thread. Each assembly number directly corresponds to a specific ROTR or ROTRN Lock Mandrel assembly number; the sub-assembly's nominal size matches the lock mandrel it is designed to equalize. A variety of materials is available to suit specific downhole conditions.
How to Order: Product Code 20. Specify nipple seal bore size, the ROTR or ROTRN Lock Mandrel assembly number to be equalized, End Cap or without-Cap configuration (suffix -1 for without Cap), and material. All sizes and corresponding lock mandrel assembly numbers are listed in the engineering data tables on Pages XV-10 through XV-12.
