AO, AD & AS Link Jar Assembly
Link Jars consist of two interlocking steel links with a Fishing Neck and Pin-Box connection. The interlocking steel links can be extended or collapsed by manipulating the Wireline at the surface to produce upward or downward jarring. The intensity of jarring impact depends on the weight of the Wireline Stem (PRODUCT CODE 101) installed above the Jar, and the stroke of the Jar as well as the wellbore conditions.

Applications
Primary jarring tool for setting, releasing, and operating downhole equipment
Heavy upward or downward impact to free stuck tools or manipulate obstructions
Setting and retrieving lock mandrels, plugs, safety valves, and all standard flow controls
Used in all standard wireline operations where mechanical impact is required
