ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly
The Rebco BO Positioning (Shifting) Tool is a wireline service tool used to mechanically move the inner sleeve of compatible and approved Type XA, RA, XO, and XD sliding side doors between open and closed positions. Expandable keys engage the corresponding shifting recess at the upper or lower end of the sleeve, allowing the operator to shift the sleeve through controlled jarring of the tool string. Standard keys are designed to release after the sleeve reaches full travel, while selective-key configurations may be used in multi-sleeve XA or RA completions to operate a specified lower sleeve without disturbing sleeves above it. Confirm the applicable sleeve profile, key configuration, connection, tool dimensions, and completion restrictions before use.
