GSL Pulling Tool Assembly
Rebco GSL Pulling Tool is designed to retrieve ROTD Collar Lock Mandrel, see PRODUCT CODE 10. The tool can be released by jarring down.
NOTE: GSL Pulling Tool has extended Core (longer reach), and it should be used only to retrieve ROTD Collar Lock Mandrel.
Retrieving Sub-Surface devices with Internal Fishing Necks; there are many occasions where a need for Shear Up to release Pulling Tool is an advantage. GU Shear-Up Adapter used with GS & GSL Pulling Tools converts the combined Tools to GR / GRL Pulling Tool Assembly respectively.
GR Pulling Tool (GS / GU) can be released by upward jarring action.
NOTE: When the GR tool is used, only the Shear Pin in the Shear-Up Adapter can be used. The Shear Pin must be removed from the GS portion of the Tool. This Shear Pin (in the GS Tool) cannot be sheared when the GU Shear-Up Adapter is attached to the GS Pulling Tool.
