- ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.
ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly Shifting Tools ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly The Rebco BO Positioning (Shifting) Tool is a wireline-deployed service tool designed to shift the inner sleeve of a compatible and approved Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side door to its open or closed position. The tool engages a corresponding recess at the upper or lower end of the sleeve, allowing the operator to move the sleeve by controlled jarring. Standard keys are designed to release after the sleeve reaches the end of its travel, while selective-key configurations are available for specified multi-sleeve applications. Product Code: 42 REQUEST A QUOTE DOWNLOAD DATASHEET ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly ROTBO Shifting Tool Assembly Click here Applications Opening or closing the inner sleeve of compatible and approved Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side doors. Performing wireline sleeve-shifting operations by engaging the applicable upper or lower sleeve recess and applying controlled jarring. Operating a selected lower compatible XA or RA sleeve in a multi-sleeve completion when equipped with the appropriate selective keys. Key Benefits Bidirectional sleeve operation: Enables compatible sliding sleeves to be shifted to an open or closed position. Automatic-release function: Standard key profiles are designed to disengage after the sleeve has completed its full open or closed travel, where applicable. Selective-key option: Selective keys can be specified for applications requiring a lower compatible sleeve to be shifted without engaging sleeves above it. Notes Compatibility: The Rebco BO Positioning (Shifting) Tool may be used only when the selected assembly, key configuration, and dimensions are approved for the applicable Type XA, RA, XO, or XD sliding side door. Confirm the sliding-side-door ID, sleeve recess dimensions, tool OD, expanded key OD, fishing neck, connection, and complete wireline tool-string configuration before use. Restriction: The tool is not intended to pass through a Position 1, Type S landing nipple. Verify all completion restrictions and the planned access path before deployment. Selective Keys: Selective keys do not use the standard automatic-release profile. If the sleeve does not complete its travel, release depends on the shear-pin mechanism. Specify selective keys at the time of ordering when required for a multi-sleeve application. Service Support: Rebco supplies applicable spare components and replacement parts. Provide the tool assembly, side-door ID, connection, and required key configuration when requesting parts or service. - GR Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.
Glossary GR Pulling Tool Assembly GR Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco GR is a shear-up internal-fishing-neck pulling tool most commonly used to retrieve ROTGR -profile devices, specifically instrument hangers, soft-set bomb hangers ( ROTRNS , ROTXNS ), and other BHP-related sub-surface equipment that feature internal fishing necks matched to the GR core geometry. The GR 's core/prong assembly enters the device bore, latches onto the internal fishing neck, and the device is retrieved by applying upward tension. A downward jar is used to release the GR from a stuck device — note that despite being commonly categorized with shear-up tools, operators should verify the specific release direction for the GR configuration when ordering. The GR is the standard retrieval tool listed in Rebco 's BHP Instrument Hanger (Section VI) accessory tables and is therefore one of the most frequently referenced pulling tools in the entire catalogue. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers from the ROTGR series (e.g., 40051318700, 40051323100, 40051327500, 40051336804, 40051345600 and others). Available 1¼" through 4½" nominal in alloy construction Used in conjunction with the JO Unlatching Tool for complete BHP instrument deployment systems FO Collar Stop Tool Assembly as a Stop Rebco FO Collar Stop Tool is designed to locate in the collar recess of the API Upset and Non-upset Tubing. The instruments can be set on top. The Collar Stop is lowered in the tubing to the desired depth; by lifting upwards, the springs are tripped, allowing the Collar Stop Collet to expand into the collar recess. Downward jarring on the Fishing Neck will free the Running Tool and at the same time force the body to lock the Collet in place. The special feature of Rebco's FO Collar Stop is that there is no welding. The Collet is machined from one piece of stock material. - Valve ROTRR Plug Choke Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.
Glossary Valve ROTRR Plug Choke Assembly Valve ROTRR Plug Choke Assembly The Rebco ROTRR Plug Choke Assembly, when landed in a ROTR Landing Nipple of the same size, plugs off the nipple and the tubing and can withstand pressure differentials from both above and below. The ROTRR is made up of a ROTR Lock Mandrel (Product Code 10, 17, or 18) combined with a ROTR Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly with Cap (Product Code 20), and requires only one run to be set. It covers nipple seal bores from 1.710" through 4.813", making it one of the broadest-coverage plug choke assemblies in the Rebco line. Equalization before retrieval is performed using separate Running and Pulling Equalizing Prongs, with specific prong numbers assigned for each seal bore size. A Check Set Tool (Product Code 41) is available for every size, allowing the operator to confirm the plug is correctly seated in the Landing Nipple profile before the equalization prong is run. All sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy, certified for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75. How to Order: Product Code 20. Specify nipple seal bore size, Lock Mandrel type (Product Code 10, 17, or 18 as applicable for the size), material, and service conditions. - BO & BD Hydraulic Jar Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.
Glossary BO & BD Hydraulic Jar Assembly BO & BD Hydraulic Jar Assembly BO Hydraulic Jar (Threaded) The Rebco BO Hydraulic Jar is an upstroke-only jar that uses a closed hydraulic fluid system to control the timing and intensity of the jarring impact. When upward tension is applied to the wireline, the mandrel assembly is pulled upward within the body. This upward movement is impeded by a piston operating within a restricted-bore cylinder filled with hydraulic fluid, which builds line tension while the jar remains closed. When the piston clears the restricted bore and enters the enlarged bore section, hydraulic resistance ceases instantly, the stretched wireline and any accelerator spring energy release simultaneously, driving the mandrel upward at rapidly increasing velocity until it strikes the body insert, delivering a high-intensity upward jarring impact. The jar is reset by slackening the wireline, allowing the weight of the stem above to push the piston back into the cylinder. The intensity of the impact is controlled by the amount of surface tension; greater tension results in a greater impact. Hydraulic jars are typically placed between the stem and the mechanical jars in the tool string, providing additional upward jarring force when conventional mechanical jarring is insufficient due to deviation, high-viscosity fluid, or deep wells. Hydraulic fluid specification can be adjusted to suit downhole temperature conditions. Available in standard threaded connections, 1¼"–2⅛" OD. BD Hydraulic Jar (RQLD) The Rebco BD Hydraulic Jar is the RQLD quick-lock version of the Type BO , combining the same controlled hydraulic upstroke jarring system with Rebco 's double-shoulder Quick Lock System for faster field assembly. Available in RQLD connections, 1¼"2⅛" OD.
