  • AO Rope Sockets | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary AO Rope Sockets AO Rope Sockets The Rebco AO Rope Socket is a disc-spring style socket that provides a secure, reliable connection between the wireline and the tool string. The slickline passes through the body, spring, and support, then wraps around a grooved disc to form a mechanical knot termination. This design creates a deliberate weak point at the top of the socket, ensuring that if the wire is subjected to excessive load, the break occurs at the socket. This leaves a clean, standardized fishing neck oriented upward for straightforward recovery with a pulling tool. Rebco AO Rope Socket is available in standard threaded connections from ⅜" to 2½" OD, with alloy steel construction and options for specialized materials. • ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly The Rebco ROTN Non-Selective Test Tool is a single-trip, seat-and-seal pressure barrier that lands on the bottom No-Go shoulder of any compatible bottom No-Go Landing Nipple to hold applied pressure from above, allowing the tubing string above the tool to be pressure tested from surface, leak-located, or used to set a hydraulic-set packer. Like the ROTFB-2 and ROTRB-2 , the ROTN is not locked in the nipple profile; it rests and seals on the nipple's No-Go shoulder under its own weight and the applied test pressure, and incorporates a built-in equalizing feature to equalize pressure before retrieval. The ROTN 's "non-selective" designation means it cannot land on a specific nipple among several of the same size in a tubing string; it will seat in the first compatible bottom No-Go nipple it encounters while being run in. For this reason, the ROTN is most effective when there is a single target nipple or when the bottommost nipple in the string is the intended test point. The ROTN is a versatile tool compatible with a variety of Landing Nipple types that share a bottom No-Go design and compatible packing bore, making it a flexible choice when only a single test depth is required, and selective positioning is not needed. Available in nominal sizes 2" through 5½", covering seal bore sizes from 1.781" to 4.562", the broadest size range of any test tool in Section VIII. Run and retrieve using the SB Pulling Tool or JDC Pulling Tool, selected by nominal size. All assemblies are manufactured from NACE MR-01-75 compliant normal alloy. How to Order: Product Code 14. Specify nominal size, seal bore size, and material. Confirm that the bottom No-Go nipple type is present in the completion and that the packing bore is compatible with the ROTN . Non-standard sizes and materials available on request. • ROTZ-1 & ROTZ-2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTZ-1 & ROTZ-2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTZ-1 & ROTZ-2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTZ-1 and ROTZ-2 are Bottom No-Go, Non-Flowing Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies that cover nominal tubing sizes from 1.660" to 4.50". The assembly's upward-facing Dogs resist upward movement, while the No-Go function is provided by the shoulder machined into the attached accessory rather than by the lock body itself. As a result, the ROTZ can only be used with a Bottom No-Go type nipple, where the accessory's No-Go shoulder seats against the nipple's lower profile to prevent the lock from travelling further downward. The ROTZ-2 is used across most of the size range, with the ROTZ-1 appearing at the 1.660" and 4.50" nominal sizes. This bottom-referenced positioning design suits applications where the depth-control anchor point is below the lock, rather than above, as in the Top No-Go ROTW configuration. All ROTZ sub-assemblies are available in a variety of materials suitable for downhole conditions, and the required running and Pulling Tools with Probes are specified in the engineering data for each size and accessory type. How to Order: Product Code 10. Specify nominal tubing size, seal bore size, lock type ( ROTZ-1 or ROTZ-2 , as appropriate), material, service conditions, and the accessory type to support correct selection of running and pulling tools. Note that the ROTZ is compatible with Bottom No-Go type nipples only.
