  • ROTF & ROTM (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTF & ROTM (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTF & ROTM (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTF and ROTM are Top No-Go Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies designed to position and secure wireline retrievable downhole equipment in BF and BJ Landing Nipples, and the BL Sliding Sleeve, in the larger bore size range of 2.750" through 3.812". Like the ROTG and ROTN , these locks feature internal Fishing Necks that provide large flow areas and use Collet-type locking fingers to resist upward movement, while the No-Go shoulders resist downward movement. The ROTF is essentially the ROTM sub-assembly without the Packing Unit and Packing Mandrel; the ROTM includes the full Packing Unit for applications requiring a tubing pack-off. Available in nominal 3 1/2" tubing with seal bores of 2.750" and 2.812", and nominal 4 1/2" tubing with seal bores of 3.688", 3.750", and 3.812", the ROTF and ROTM extend the high-volume completion lock range into the larger bore sizes. The ROTF uses a Box thread bottom connection, and the ROTM uses a Pin thread; both must be specified when ordering. Running and pulling operations for both are performed using the ROTGS Running/Pulling Tool, with the ROTM -specific prong used for engagement. All sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy. How to Order: Product Code 10. Specify lock type ( ROTF for no pack-off, ROTM for pack-off), nominal tubing size (3 1/2" or 4 1/2"), seal bore size, thread type (Box for ROTF , Pin for ROTM ), and material.
