  • BB Circulating Bottom Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BB Circulating Bottom Sub-Assembly BB Circulating Bottom Sub-Assembly The Rebco BB Circulating Bottom Sub-Assembly is designed for use with both BF and BR Landing Nipples and covers seal bore sizes from 1.78" to 2.81". For use in a BF Landing Nipple, it is paired with Lock Mandrels ROTS , ROTW , ROTG , and ROTM , using an API Cross Over Mandrel or Packing Mandrel with a BB Seal Unit. For use in a BR Landing Nipple, it is paired with Lock Mandrels ROTZ and ROTK , again using an API Cross Over Mandrel or Packing Mandrel with a Type BB Seal Unit. The assembly holds pressure from below while allowing circulation from above, and can be held open to bypass fluid freely during run-in and pull-out operations, reducing the hydraulic resistance on the tool string while tripping in and out of the well. The BB Circulating Bottom Sub-Assembly consists of eight components: a Seal Unit, an API Cross Over Mandrel, a Circulating Valve, a Valve Stem, two Springs, a Retainer, and a Type A or B Cage. Part numbers and full engineering data are referenced in Section XVI (Plug Chokes). When ordering, the operator must specify the Lock Mandrel size and type to be used, as well as the material suited to downhole conditions. How to Order: Product Code 21. Specify Landing Nipple type ( BF or BR ), Lock Mandrel size and type to be used with ( ROTS , ROTW , ROTG , ROTM for BF ; ROTZ , ROTK for BR ), Cage type ( A or B ), material, and service conditions. • Valve ROTRRN Plug Choke Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary Valve ROTRRN Plug Choke Assembly Valve ROTRRN Plug Choke Assembly The Rebco ROTRRN Plug Choke Assembly is the No-Go counterpart to the ROTRR , designed to land in a ROTRN Landing Nipple of the same size, plug off the nipple and tubing, and hold bidirectional pressure. The ROTRRN is made up of a ROTRN Lock Mandrel (Product Code 10, 17, or 18) combined with a ROTR Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly with Cap (Product Code 20), and like the ROTRR , it requires only one run to be set. It covers the same nipple seal bore range of 1.710" through 4.813" as the ROTRR . The key operational distinction from the ROTRR is the No-Go bottom shoulder provided by the ROTRN Lock Mandrel, which provides the operator with a positive mechanical depth stop in addition to the standard plug-choke function. Equalizing Prong numbers, Running and Pulling Tool numbers, and Check Set Tool numbers are identical to the ROTRR series for each corresponding seal bore size, simplifying cross-family tool management. How to Order: Product Code 20. Specify nipple seal bore size, Lock Mandrel type (Product Code 10, 17, or 18 as applicable), material, and service conditions. • BG Running Tool | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BG Running Tool BG Running Tool The Rebco BG Running Tool is a locating and running tool purpose-built for positioning sub-surface accessories equipped with ROTS-1 or ROTS-2 Lock Sub-Assemblies into their corresponding selective seal profiles within the wellbore. Its primary function is not to set the device by jarring, but to accurately locate a specific seal profile among several within a multi-nipple completion string, a critical distinction in selective completions, where the wrong profile must not be accidentally engaged. The BG operates by engaging the collet or locating feature of the Lock Sub-Assembly against the correct profile recess as the tool string is lowered. Once the proper profile is located and the accessory is seated, the running tool is released and retrieved, leaving the sub-surface device locked in place. This makes the BG an essential tool in gas lift, chemical injection, and other multi-zone selective applications where precise depth control and profile selectivity are paramount. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers 4101052370 (2⅜"), 4101052870 (2½"), 4101053500 (3½"), and 4101054500 (4½"). • BHP ACCESSORIES | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BHP ACCESSORIES BHP ACCESSORIES FO Collar Stop (Product Code 110) The Rebco FO Collar Stop is a depth stop device designed to locate and lock within the collar recess of API Upset and Non-Upset tubing, providing a firm platform at a predetermined depth upon which BHP instruments or instrument carriers can be placed and held during a pressure or temperature survey. The FO is lowered to the desired depth on the wireline tool string; an upward lift trips the internal collet springs, allowing the collet to expand outward into the collar recess. A downward jar on the fishing neck then drives the body downward to lock the expanded collet firmly in place, simultaneously releasing the running tool and leaving the stop set in the collar. A defining feature of the Rebco FO Collar Stop is its weld-free, one-piece, machined collet construction. The collet is machined from a single piece of stock rather than assembled from separate parts. This eliminates the risk of weld failure under the stresses of setting, instrument loading, and retrieval, making the FO among the most structurally reliable collar stop designs available. Available in nominal sizes 1¼" through 4½". See Section II (Service Tools, Pages II-27–28) for full sizing and selection data. How to Order: See Section II, Service Tools, Pages II-27–28 for selection by nominal size and tubing type. SS Tubing Slip Stop (Product Code 164) The Rebco SS Tubing Slip Stop is a depth stop that grips the tubing bore wall directly rather than relying on a collar recess, making it usable anywhere along the tubing string, not just at collar locations. The SS is lowered to the desired depth, then a rapid downward movement expands the serrated slips outward against the tubing wall. Continued downward jarring drives the slips harder against the wall and simultaneously releases the running tool, leaving the SS anchored at the set depth. Its instrument carrier or BHP hanger is then landed on top for the survey. Because the SS sets within the body of the tubing rather than in a collar, it offers far greater flexibility in depth selection than the FO . The operator can set the SS at any chosen depth rather than being constrained to collar locations. Available in nominal sizes 1¼" through 4½". See Section II (Service Tools, Pages II-29–30) for selection. How to Order: See Section II, Service Tools, Pages II-29–30 for selection by nominal size and tubing type. DO Collar Lock (Product Code 33) The Rebco DO Collar Lock is a third-depth stop variant that, like the FO , sets within the tubing collar recess, but uses a different locking mechanism suited to a specific set of nominal sizes and applications. The DO anchors in the collar and provides a platform for instruments or other tools. Available in nominal sizes 2" through 3". Running and retrieving tools are available; contact us at info@rebcooiltools.com for details. • JUC Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary JUC Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly JUC Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly The Rebco JUC is a shear-up, short-reach pulling tool for external fishing necks. Its operational sequence mirrors that of the JDC : dogs snap over the fishing neck as the tool is lowered, and upward tension retrieves the device, but the critical difference lies in the release direction: rather than jarring down to release, the JUC releases by jarring upward. This makes the JUC the correct choice for sub-surface devices installed in completions or positions where a downward jar could risk damaging equipment below, driving the device further into a restriction, or creating an unsafe condition. The shear-up release also provides a distinct operational advantage when retrieving devices in wells with heavy fluid columns or high upward wellbore pressure, conditions that would make a downward jar difficult to deliver with sufficient force. In these situations, the upward jar needed to release the JUC is assisted by the wellbore pressure, making the release more reliable. The short-reach core suits fishing necks located near the top of the sub-surface device assembly. Available in nominal sizes from 1¼" to 4", with alloy construction throughout. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers from the JUC series. Specify the nominal size and confirm that the short reach is appropriate for the target fishing neck depth. • SSJ Running and Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary SSJ Running and Pulling Tool Assembly SSJ Running and Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco SSJ is a shear-down pulling tool designed to retrieve sub-surface devices with external fishing necks in applications where the standard SB or SS will not engage, specifically when the device requires a J-type adapter interface between the pulling tool and the fishing neck. The SSJ is used in conjunction with its adapter component to access and engage the target fishing neck, then released by downward jarring, as with the standard S-Series tools. How to Order: Specify nominal size and SSJ designation. Confirm J-type adapter interface requirement before ordering. Contact Rebco for assembly numbers and adapter specifications. • TUBING DRIFTS | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary TUBING DRIFTS TUBING DRIFTS The Rebco Drift is a precision-machined go/no-go gauge tool used to verify that a specific bore, nipple, or completion restriction will pass a tool of a known minimum OD. Unlike the Gauge Cutter, which cleans and scrapes the bore as it passes, the Drift is a smooth-OD tool manufactured to exactly the minimum drift diameter required. If the drift passes through the restriction without resistance, the bore is confirmed clear for the intended tool. If the drift does not pass, the bore is below the minimum dimension and remediation is required before the planned tool can be run. Drifts are available in a range of ODs to match all standard nipple bore specifications, subsurface safety valve bore dimensions, and custom completion requirements. • ROTJ Running Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTJ Running Tool Assembly ROTJ Running Tool Assembly The Rebco ROTJ Running Tool is a direct-shear-pin engagement running tool designed specifically for setting sub-surface devices with external fishing necks. The ROTJ connects to the device by threading a shear pin through the running tool body and into the fishing neck of the sub-surface device, holding the two together as a single unit during the trip downhole. Once the device reaches its target depth and is properly seated within the landing nipple, an upward jar stroke shears the retaining pin, freeing the running tool from the device and allowing the tool string to be retrieved to the surface. The ROTJ is a straightforward, reliable tool valued for its simplicity. There are no collet fingers, no latching dogs, and no hydraulic components to service. The running neck ID, which determines the size of the fishing neck the ROTJ will engage, varies by the type of sub-surface tool being installed. Operators should specify the fishing neck size or tool type when ordering to ensure proper fit. Available in nominal sizes ¾" through 4", with lengths ranging from 2.44" to 5.62". All sizes feature alloy construction with matched-pitch pin threads and fishing-neck connections. How to Order: Specify the nominal size and fishing neck size, or the tool type, when ordering, as the running neck ID varies by sub-surface device. Assembly numbers range from 410736 (¾") to 410725 (4"). Contact Rebco if the standard ROTJ is not suitable for the specific fishing neck configuration.
