  • EO Roller Stem (Weight Bar) | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary EO Roller Stem (Weight Bar) EO Roller Stem (Weight Bar) The Rebco EO Roller Stem is a standard alloy steel stem fitted with rollers to reduce friction between the tool string and the tubing wall during wireline work in deviated or corkscrew wellbores. In deviated wells, conventional solid stems drag along the low side of the tubing under gravity, creating resistance that can prevent the tool string from reaching total depth, reduce jarring effectiveness, and accelerate wear on both the tubing and the stem body. The rollers, mounted on captive dowel pins, allow the stem to roll along the tubing wall rather than slide, significantly reducing drag forces. Roller diameters are sized to suit specific tubing IDs and must be specified at the time of order. Available in lengths of 2 ft, 3 ft, and 5 ft, with 2, 3, or 4 rollers per section, in standard threaded connections, 1¼"–2½" OD. On plastic-coated or chromium-finished tubing strings, nylon rollers can be specified to prevent abrasive damage that could initiate corrosion. • ROTW Tubing Slip Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTW Tubing Slip Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTW Tubing Slip Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTW Tubing Slip Mandrel Sub-Assembly is designed to be set directly in the tubing bore, without the need for Landing Nipples or tubing collars, covering nominal sizes of 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4". The slip mechanism grips the inner wall of the tubing, and the attached Element Sub-Assembly packs off the tubing ID to create a pressure seal. When fitted with compatible Equalizing Sub-Assemblies, the ROTW is designed to hold pressure from below only; it is not rated for bidirectional differential pressure holding. The ROTW Element Sub-Assembly is available separately as a Redress Kit (Product Code 91), allowing the sealing element to be replaced without removing the entire mandrel from service. Running is performed using the ROTW Running Tool, and pulling is done with the ROTRB Pulling Tool. The ROTW is constructed from Alloy material across all sizes. Nominal bore sizes from 1 3/4" to 4" are available in the standard catalogue, and the expanded and retracted slip ODs, element OD, minimum ID, and bottom thread connections are all specified in the engineering data for each size. How to Order: Product Code 10 for the ROTW Tubing Slip Mandrel Sub-Assembly; Product Code 91 for the ROTW Element Sub-Assembly (Redress Kit). Specify nominal tubing size (1 3/4", 2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", or 4"), material, and the type of Equalizing Sub-Assembly required for the intended application. • GSL Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary GSL Pulling Tool Assembly GSL Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco GSL is the long-reach version of the ROTGS , providing a deeper core travel distance to engage internal fishing necks located deeper within the sub-surface device bore than the standard ROTGS reach can reach. The GSL is operationally and mechanically identical to the ROTGS , shear-down release, core/prong engagement, internal fishing neck only, differing only in the length of the core assembly. The GSL is the correct tool when pre-job measurement or field confirmation indicates that the GS core does not travel far enough to engage the internal fishing neck latch recess. How to Order: Specify nominal size and ROTGSL designation. Confirm long reach is required by measuring the distance from the device entry to the internal fishing neck latch recess before deployment. Note: ‘ROT’ is abbreviated for Rebco Oil Tools . • RMF Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary RMF Pulling Tool Assembly RMF Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco RMF is a unique dual-mode pulling tool capable of releasing via upward or downward jarring, making it the most operationally flexible pulling tool in the Rebco catalogue for external fishing neck retrieval. The RMF is selected for situations where the operator is uncertain which release direction will be effective, or where well conditions may make one direction unreliable, and wants the option to attempt release in either direction without pulling out of the hole to change tools. The dual-release capability also provides a practical safety benefit: if an upward jar attempt to release from a stuck device is unsuccessful (for example, due to high wellbore pressure assisting the stuck condition), the operator can immediately switch to downward jarring to shear the pin and free the tool string, without a trip out of the hole. How to Order: Specify nominal size and RMF designation. Contact Rebco for assembly numbers and release load specifications for both directions. • ROTXN Lock Mandrel Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTXN Lock Mandrel Assembly ROTXN Lock Mandrel Assembly The Rebco ROTXN Lock Mandrel is the No-Go counterpart to the ROTX , featuring chamfered Keys and accepting a Bottom Sub to convert it to a full No-Go lock. It is designed to land in a ROTXN Landing Nipple of the same size, covering the identical bore range as the ROTX , from 1.250" through 4.562". Without the Bottom Sub, the ROTXN can also function as a selective lock, giving it the same dual-mode flexibility as the ROTRN . The same product code structure applies: Product Code 10 for standard sizes up to 2.875"; Product Code 18 Safety Spring for 3.313" through 4.562"; and Product Code 17 Interference Hold Down for 1.875" and 2.313" seal bores. The Safety Spring feature and Shear Pin function identically to those in the ROTX Safety Spring variant, with the Shear Pin lodging between the Expander Sleeve and Key Retainer once the lock is set in the nipple. The ROTXN shares the same running and pulling tool family as the ROTX , and Check Set Tools (Product Code 41) are also available for all ROTXN sizes. How to Order: Product Code 10 (standard, 1.250" to 2.875"), Product Code 17 (Interference Hold Down, 1.875" and 2.313"), or Product Code 18 (Safety Spring, 3.313" to 4.562"). • ROTG & ROTN (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTG & ROTN (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTG & ROTN (Top No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTG and ROTN are Top No-Go Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies designed to position and secure wireline retrievable downhole equipment in BF and BJ Landing Nipples, as well as the BL Sliding Sleeve. Both locks feature an External Fishing Neck and large flow areas through the bore, making them well-suited for high-volume production completions where maximizing the flow cross-section is important. Latch-type Collet locking fingers prevent upward movement, while the No-Go shoulders resist downward movement. The key distinction between the two is that the ROTG is essentially a ROTN sub-assembly without the Packing Unit and Packing Mandrel. The ROTN , with its Packing Unit, is used when completion requires a pack-off to isolate the tubing annulus above and below the nipple; the ROTG is used when no pack-off is needed, and only positional locking is required. Both are available in nominal sizes of 2 3/8" and 2 7/8", with seal bores ranging from 1.781" to 2.312". Material is Norm Alloy across all sizes. Running is performed with the ROTC-1 Running Tool with Shank BN-1, and pulling is performed with the ROTRB Pulling Tool with Probe BN-1. How to Order: Product Code 10. Specify lock type ( ROTG for no pack-off, ROTN for pack-off), nominal tubing size (2 3/8" or 2 7/8"), seal bore size, and material. Refer to Page XIV-18 for tool selection for running and pulling tools based on accessory type.
