  • ROTRZB Instrument Hanger Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTRZB Instrument Hanger Assembly ROTRZB Instrument Hanger Assembly The Rebco ROTRZB Instrument Hanger is specifically designed to land and lock geophysical instruments within BR Landing Nipples, a different nipple profile type from the BF nipples served by the ROTFSB and ROTFWB . The ROTRZB is built around a ROTZ-1/2 Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly, which engages the BR nipple's specific profile geometry. Like the ROTFWB , the ROTC-1 Running Tool used with the ROTRZB must be fitted with a Thread Protector during deployment. The ROTRZB rounds out Rebco 's trio of BF / BR -type nipple instrument hangers, ensuring that operators with completions containing BR nipples, in addition to or instead of BF nipples, have a matched instrument hanger available. All three of the ROTFSB , ROTFWB , and ROTRZB use the same Hanger Sub components and the same instrument box thread connection options, simplifying inventory management when multiple hanger types are required on the same job. Available in nominal sizes 2⅜" through 4½" in both Amerada and Sucker Rod connections. Non-standard sizes and specialty materials are available upon request. How to Order: Specify nominal size, seal bore size, and box thread connection (Amerada ¾"–16 or Sucker Rod 15/16"–10). Confirm the BR nipple profile is present in the completion string before selecting ROTRZB over ROTFSB or ROTFWB . • ROTFWG-2 Plug Choke with Removable Mandrel (TOP No-Go) | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTFWG-2 Plug Choke with Removable Mandrel (TOP No-Go) ROTFWG-2 Plug Choke with Removable Mandrel (TOP No-Go) The Rebco ROTFWG Plug Choke with Removable Mandrel is a positive blank-off device that seals off pressure from both above and below. It is a Top No-Go device designed to be set in BF Landing Nipples and the upper seal bore of the ROTL Sliding Sleeve. Unlike the ROTFSG-2 , which has a selective capability, the ROTFWG is exclusively a Top No-Go device; the No-Go shoulder provides a positive mechanical depth stop that prevents the plug from passing the intended nipple depth below. The plug requires two runs to be set and covers nominal sizes from 2" through 3-1/2", with corresponding seal bore sizes. Construction is from Alloy material, and the same running and pulling tool family as the ROTFSG-2 applies: ROTC-1 (with Locator Ring) or ROTBG for running; Shear Down SB or JDC , and Shear Up ROTRB or JUC , for retrieval; with ROTA Pulling Probes specified by nominal size. A Redress Kit with V-Packing (6 pieces) is available for all sizes, and pulling tool bore-pass restrictions, similar to those of the ROTFSG-2 , must be reviewed before planning retrieval. How to Order: Product Code 21 or 22. Specify nominal size, seal bore size, Running Tool type, Pulling Tool type, Pulling Probe size, material, and service conditions. Review pulling tool bore-pass restrictions before specifying retrieval tools. Refer to Pages XVI-28 through XVI-32. • ROTR Running Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTR Running Tool Assembly ROTR Running Tool Assembly The Rebco ROTR Running Tool is a full-featured, dog-engagement running tool engineered to run, locate, and set all Type ROTR and ROTRN sub-surface tools, including Lock Mandrels, instrument hangers, and other ROTR -profile devices, into their respective nominal-size landing nipple profiles. The ROTR is one of the most widely applied running tools in the Rebco product line, covering an exceptionally broad size range from 1.375" to 4.813" nominal and used in applications from small-bore velocity string completions to large-diameter production tubing. The ROTR Running Tool is also commonly used to install tubing safety valves into the uppermost landing nipple of the completion string, where positive set confirmation is critical to well safety. A standout operational feature is that the ROTR provides a positive mechanical indication at the surface when the lock mandrel is fully set, eliminating ambiguity during the setting operation. When running a No-Go Lock, the Lock Mandrel's keys must be placed in the locating position so that the keys and No-Go shoulder, rather than the Running Tool's dogs, locate the nipple. This distinction between key-located and dog-located settings is a fundamental operational consideration when using the ROTR on complex multi-nipple completions. All Rebco ROTR Running Tools are manufactured with Inconel springs, making them suitable for sour H₂S service. Available in 26 nominal sizes from 1.375" to 4.813", with dogs-in ODs from 1.28" to 4.75" and bottom thread connections sized to match each lock mandrel configuration. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers from 41132013700 (1.375") to 41132048100 (4.813"). Specify nominal size. Assembly Sleeves (NS prefix 167151413xxx) and Test Sleeves (NS prefix 1671514xxx) are ordered separately by nominal size. * ROTR Running Tool can only set a 3.313 & ____ ROTX/XN Lock Mandrel Back to the Tool page PDF download ROTR Running Tool Assembly ROTR Running Tool Assembly Click here RELATED TOOLS Disclaimer: Information is provided for reference only. • F Running Tool | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary F Running Tool F Running Tool The Rebco F Running Tool is a simple, pin-through-ID running tool designed to set sub-surface tools with external fishing necks, secured by a transverse pin through the tool body ID. Unlike dog-engagement or collet-style running tools, the Type F physically pins through the ID of the sub-surface device's fishing neck, holding the device rigidly to the running tool body during the trip downhole. Once the device is set at the target depth, whether by downward jarring, collet engagement, or spring activation, the pin is sheared or the running tool is released by jarring, freeing the Type F for retrieval to the surface. The primary sub-surface tools set with the Type F are FO Collar Stops (Product Code 110) and SS Tubing Slip Stops (Product Code 164), both of which are commonly used as depth stops and anchors for BHP instruments and other downhole equipment. The Type F is available in nominal sizes from 1¼" through 4½", with each size paired to its corresponding Collar Stop and Slip Stop assembly numbers for straightforward tool matching. How to Order: Available in nominal sizes 1¼" through 4½". Assembly numbers: 41251 (1¼"–1½"), 41252 (2 1/16"–2½"), 41253 (3"–4"), 4125200, 4125250, 4125350, 4125450. • SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly Rebco Slip Stops are wireline-set mechanical anchoring devices that seat and grip within the smooth bore of the tubing string, rather than within a collar recess, using hardened slip elements that bite into the tubing wall when load is applied. This allows a positive, depth-controlled landing point to be established at any chosen depth within the tubing string, independent of collar locations. Once the slips engage, the stop resists both upward and downward movement, providing a firm reactive footing for tools that require a fixed anchor point during their actuation sequence. Slip Stops are particularly valuable in tubing strings where collar locations do not coincide with the optimal tool setting depth, or where the completion design does not include a dedicated landing nipple at the required interval. Retrieved by applying a controlled upward jar load to disengage the slips from the tubing wall. Available in multiple OD ranges to suit all standard tubing sizes and threaded connections. • SB Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary SB Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly SB Pulling Tool (Short Reach) Assembly The Rebco SB is a shear-down, short-reach pulling tool for external fishing necks and is one of the most frequently used pulling tools in routine wireline operations. Functionally, the SB performs the same retrieve-and-release operation as the JDC , but features a different core and dog geometry that makes it the preferred tool for a specific set of sub-surface device fishing neck profiles, most notably those on FO Collar Stops (Product Code 110), SS Tubing Slip Stops (Product Code 164), and similar devices that are routinely run and pulled as part of BHP survey and production optimization work. The SB 's short-reach core keeps the engagement zone close to the top of the tool, making it well-suited for devices that sit at or near the top of the nipple profile once set. A downward jar releases the shear pin and collapses the dogs if the device cannot be freed by normal tension. The core-and-nut design of the SB allows straightforward field replacement of the core to adjust reach, extend service life, or accommodate different fishing neck ODs within the same nominal tool size. Available in nominal sizes 1" through 4", engaging fishing neck ODs from 0.687" to 3.125". Alloy construction with dedicated Pinning Tool Assembly, Releasing Tool, Core Wrench, and Core Nut Wrench accessories for each size range. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers from 4014011000 (1") to 4014014000 (4"). Specify nominal size. Confirm the reach against the device's fishing neck depth to be retrieved. Order Pinning Tool Assembly, Releasing Tool, Core Wrench, and Core Nut Wrench accessories separately by nominal size.
