  • SP Sand Pump (Bailer) Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary SP Sand Pump (Bailer) Assembly SP Sand Pump (Bailer) Assembly The Rebco SP Sand Pump Bailer is a pump-action debris recovery tool that removes accumulated sand, scale, loose solids, and wellbore debris from the tubing or casing bore using a conventional reciprocating piston lift-pump mechanism. The tool consists of a top sub with a fishing neck, a piston assembly within the main barrel, and an interchangeable bottom valve shoe, available in ball, flapper, or junk-catcher configurations to suit different debris types and wellbore conditions. As the tool string is alternately lowered and raised at the surface, the piston moves up and down within the barrel: on the downstroke, the bottom valve opens, and debris-laden fluid enters the barrel below the piston; on the upstroke, the bottom valve closes, and the piston lifts the captured material upward within the barrel, loading the tool for retrieval. For large-volume debris accumulations where a single barrel capacity is insufficient, the Sand Pump Bailer can be converted to a tandem configuration by connecting a double-pin sub and an additional barrel below the primary unit, effectively doubling the recovery volume without requiring an additional wireline run. The operator should move the tool slowly downward onto the debris accumulation and then raise it sharply and repeatedly to maximize pump efficiency. At least 15 pump strokes are recommended before retrieving the tool to assess recovery. If debris has hardened or compacted to a point where pump action alone is insufficient, chemical solvents or mechanical loosening by light jar-down action prior to bailer deployment can improve results. Available with ball-type, flapper-type, or junk-catcher-type bottom shoe configurations, all of which are also available with optional mule shoe bottoms for guided approach. Standard barrel length is 5 ft. Available in 1½"–3" OD. • RMF Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary RMF Pulling Tool Assembly RMF Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco RMF is a unique dual-mode pulling tool capable of releasing via upward or downward jarring, making it the most operationally flexible pulling tool in the Rebco catalogue for external fishing neck retrieval. The RMF is selected for situations where the operator is uncertain which release direction will be effective, or where well conditions may make one direction unreliable, and wants the option to attempt release in either direction without pulling out of the hole to change tools. The dual-release capability also provides a practical safety benefit: if an upward jar attempt to release from a stuck device is unsuccessful (for example, due to high wellbore pressure assisting the stuck condition), the operator can immediately switch to downward jarring to shear the pin and free the tool string, without a trip out of the hole. How to Order: Specify nominal size and RMF designation. Contact Rebco for assembly numbers and release load specifications for both directions. • ROTE & ROTK (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTE & ROTK (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTE & ROTK (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTE and ROTK are Bottom No-Go Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies, the large-bore counterparts to the ROTF and ROTM , designed for use in BR Landing Nipples with seal bores ranging from 2.750" to 3.812". As with the ROTF and ROTM pairing, the ROTK is essentially the ROTE sub-assembly without the Packing Unit and Packing Mandrel; the ROTE includes the full Packing Unit for pack-off applications. Both feature internal Fishing Necks providing large flow areas, and Collet-type locking fingers paired with Bottom No-Go shoulders to resist movement in both directions once set. Available in nominal 3 1/2" tubing (seal bores of 2.750" and 2.812") and nominal 4 1/2" tubing (seal bores of 3.688", 3.750", and 3.812"), the ROTE and ROTK share the same ROTGS Running/Pulling Tool and ROTM -specific prong used for the ROTF and ROTM family, keeping tool requirements consistent across the larger bore lock range. All sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy, and a variety of alternative materials are available for specific downhole conditions. How to Order: Product Code 10. Specify lock type ( ROTE for pack-off, ROTK for no pack-off), nominal tubing size (3 1/2" or 4 1/2"), seal bore size, thread type (Box for ROTE , Pin for ROTK ), and material.
