  • BB Pulling Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BB Pulling Tool Assembly BB Pulling Tool Assembly The Rebco BB is a specialized pulling tool fitted with a BB (Bullet) Probe, a narrow-diameter prong assembly designed to enter the restricted bore of instrument hangers equipped with ROTFSB and ROTTSB Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies, where the internal bore is too small for a standard GR core to enter and engage. The BB probe enters the small bore, locates the internal fishing neck recess, and latches, allowing the instrument hanger assembly to be retrieved to the surface. BB Probes are available in two lengths, Short and Long, to compensate for the variation in fishing neck position that occurs across different lock mandrel sub-assembly configurations within the same nominal size. How to Order: Specify nominal size and probe length (Short or Long). Confirm lock mandrel sub-assembly type ( ROTFSB or ROTTSB ) before ordering. Contact Rebco for assembly numbers and guidance on probe length selection. Note: ‘ROT’ is abbreviated for Rebco Oil Tools . • Equalizing Prong ROTPXX Plug Choke Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary Equalizing Prong ROTPXX Plug Choke Assembly Equalizing Prong ROTPXX Plug Choke Assembly The Rebco Equalizing Prong ROTPXX Plug Choke Assembly lands in a ROTX Landing Nipple of the same size and holds pressure differentials from both above and below using the prong-and-valve sealing mechanism. The ROTPXX consists of a ROTX Lock Mandrel (Product Code 10, 17, or 18) and a ROTPX Equalizing Prong and Valve Sub-Assembly with Cap (Product Code 20) and requires two runs to be fully set. Before the Equalizing Prong is run, it is recommended that a Check Set Tool be run to confirm that the plug body is correctly seated in the ROTX Landing Nipple profile. It covers nipple seal bores from 1.500" through 4.562". Prong lengths range from 23.38" at the 1.875" seal bore to 35.34" at the 4.313" and 4.562" sizes, with Prong Running and Pulling Tools varying by size. All sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy certified for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75. As with all prong-type assemblies, Prong lengths can be ordered to suit special requirements. How to Order: Product Code 21. • BO Lead Filled Stem (Weight Bar) | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BO Lead Filled Stem (Weight Bar) BO Lead Filled Stem (Weight Bar) The Rebco BO Lead-Filled Stem is a tubular steel barrel filled with lead to provide a higher weight per foot than an equivalent solid steel stem of the same outer diameter. This allows maximum downhole weight to be achieved within a restricted tool string OD, important in small tubing, high-pressure wells, or pressure survey applications where minimum cross-sectional area is critical. A 1½" OD lead-filled stem weighs approximately 35.8 lbs per 5 ft length, compared to 29.2 lbs for the equivalent solid steel bar. It is important to note that lead-filled stems must not be used in heavy-jarring applications; repeated shock loading can cause the lead fill to creep downward within the barrel, splitting the outer steel casing and rendering the stem unserviceable. Lead-filled stems are best suited for pressure survey runs and instrument deployment where jarring is not anticipated. Available in standard threaded connections, 1¼"–2½" OD. Important: Lead-filled stems must not be used in jarring applications. Repeated shock loading will cause the lead fill to creep and split the outer barrel. • Valve ROTXX Plug Choke Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary Valve ROTXX Plug Choke Assembly Valve ROTXX Plug Choke Assembly The Rebco ROTXX Plug Choke Assembly fits into a ROTX Landing Nipple of the same size, plugs off the nipple and the tubing, and provides bidirectional pressure-holding capability. The ROTXX is made up of a ROTX Lock Mandrel (Product Code 10, 17, or 18) combined with a ROTX Equalizing Valve Sub-Assembly with Cap (Product Code 20), and requires only one run to be set. It covers nipple seal bores from 1.500" to 4.562", starting with a smaller bore than the ROTRR series, making it the appropriate choice for small-bore completions using the ROTX nipple profile. As with the ROTRR , equalization before retrieval is performed using separate Running and Pulling Equalizing Prongs specific to each seal bore size. A Check Set Tool (Product Code 41) is available for every size, and all sizes are constructed from Norm Alloy certified for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75. How to Order: Product Code 20. • JDS Pulling Tool (Medium Reach) Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary JDS Pulling Tool (Medium Reach) Assembly JDS Pulling Tool (Medium Reach) Assembly The Rebco JDS is the medium-reach counterpart to the JDC , sharing the same shear-down release mechanism and external fishing neck engagement design, but with a longer core that positions the dog-engaging surface farther below the bottom of the tool body. This additional reach is necessary when the sub-surface device's fishing neck sits deeper below the top of the landing nipple or sub-surface assembly, such as when the device has been set with an extended packing mandrel below the fishing neck, or when the completion geometry results in the fishing neck being recessed further than a short-reach tool can access. The JDS is otherwise operationally identical to the JDC : dogs snap over the external fishing neck on the trip down, upward tension retrieves the device, and a downward jar shears the pin and releases the tool if the device is stuck. As with the JDC , changing the core is all that is required to switch between short- and medium-reach within the same nominal size. Available in nominal sizes 1¼" through 4", engaging fishing neck ODs from 0.875" to 3.125". Alloy construction throughout. How to Order: Available in assembly numbers from 400703141250 (1¼") to 400703144000 (4"). Specify nominal size. Confirm medium reach is required by measuring or referencing the fishing neck depth on the device to be retrieved before deployment. • SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly SS Tubing Slip Stop Assembly Rebco Slip Stops are wireline-set mechanical anchoring devices that seat and grip within the smooth bore of the tubing string, rather than within a collar recess, using hardened slip elements that bite into the tubing wall when load is applied. This allows a positive, depth-controlled landing point to be established at any chosen depth within the tubing string, independent of collar locations. Once the slips engage, the stop resists both upward and downward movement, providing a firm reactive footing for tools that require a fixed anchor point during their actuation sequence. Slip Stops are particularly valuable in tubing strings where collar locations do not coincide with the optimal tool setting depth, or where the completion design does not include a dedicated landing nipple at the required interval. Retrieved by applying a controlled upward jar load to disengage the slips from the tubing wall. Available in multiple OD ranges to suit all standard tubing sizes and threaded connections. • BF Landing Nipple | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary BF Landing Nipple BF Landing Nipple The Rebco BF Seating Nipple is a top no-go and selective seating nipple designed to provide a reliable landing, locking, and sealing location for compatible wireline-deployed downhole equipment. Its internal profile is engineered to accept both selective lock mandrels and top no-go lock mandrels. In a completion containing multiple BF nipples, a compatible selective lock mandrel may be run through the upper profiles and positioned in the selected nipple at the intended setting depth. This enables downhole devices to be installed, retrieved, or serviced at individual locations without affecting equipment already installed deeper in the tubing string. The BF Seating Nipple is intended for use with Rebco ROTFSB, ROTFWB, and related BHP Instrument Hanger assemblies, as well as compatible check valves, blanking plugs, chokes, and other flow-control devices that require a top no-go or selective lock profile. Available for tubing outside diameters ranging from 1.660 in. through 7⅝ in., the BF profile can be applied across a broad range of completion designs, from small-diameter velocity strings to larger-bore production tubing. The nipple is manufactured with an outside diameter matched to the applicable tubing-joint or coupling outside diameter, helping maintain a streamlined external profile and reduce the potential for hang-up while running the completion.
