  • ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly ROTN (Non-Selective) Test Tool Assembly The Rebco ROTN Non-Selective Test Tool is a single-trip, seat-and-seal pressure barrier that lands on the bottom No-Go shoulder of any compatible bottom No-Go Landing Nipple to hold applied pressure from above, allowing the tubing string above the tool to be pressure tested from surface, leak-located, or used to set a hydraulic-set packer. Like the ROTFB-2 and ROTRB-2 , the ROTN is not locked in the nipple profile; it rests and seals on the nipple's No-Go shoulder under its own weight and the applied test pressure, and incorporates a built-in equalizing feature to equalize pressure before retrieval. The ROTN 's "non-selective" designation means it cannot land on a specific nipple among several of the same size in a tubing string; it will seat in the first compatible bottom No-Go nipple it encounters while being run in. For this reason, the ROTN is most effective when there is a single target nipple or when the bottommost nipple in the string is the intended test point. The ROTN is a versatile tool compatible with a variety of Landing Nipple types that share a bottom No-Go design and compatible packing bore, making it a flexible choice when only a single test depth is required, and selective positioning is not needed. Available in nominal sizes 2" through 5½", covering seal bore sizes from 1.781" to 4.562", the broadest size range of any test tool in Section VIII. Run and retrieve using the SB Pulling Tool or JDC Pulling Tool, selected by nominal size. All assemblies are manufactured from NACE MR-01-75 compliant normal alloy. How to Order: Product Code 14. Specify nominal size, seal bore size, and material. Confirm that the bottom No-Go nipple type is present in the completion and that the packing bore is compatible with the ROTN . • Modified PORN & POXN Test Tool Plug Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary Modified PORN & POXN Test Tool Plug Assembly Modified PORN & POXN Test Tool Plug Assembly The Rebco Modified PORN and POXN Test Tool Plug Assembly is a two-component pressure barrier system: a Lock Mandrel and a Prong, used to create a robust, retrievable plug in bottom No-Go type Landing Nipples for pressure testing. The assembly holds pressure only from above, achieved by orienting the V-Packing on both the Lock Mandrel and the Prong upward so they seal against downward-acting test pressure from the surface. The two-component design, which runs Lock Mandrel and Prong separately, provides operational flexibility that a single-body plug does not. The Lock Mandrel can be run first and set in the nipple independently (using a Running Tool, followed by a Check Set Tool to confirm proper key setting), and the Prong is then run into the set mandrel separately on an SB Pulling Tool. Alternatively, when the Lock Mandrel keys are not used, the Prong can be pre-assembled into the mandrel and the entire assembly run in one trip on an SB Pulling Tool. The extra-long Prong option is a notable feature: by extending below the Lock Mandrel, the long Prong acts as a stand-off, keeping the base of the plug assembly clear of sand or scale accumulation at the nipple base. This significantly reduces the risk of the assembly becoming stuck and difficult to retrieve after the pressure test, a common operational hazard in wells with sand or scale production. Retrieval is a two-stage process: the Prong is pulled first (using an SB Pulling Tool), then the Lock Mandrel is retrieved separately (using a ROTGS Pulling Tool). In clean wells, the complete assembly, Lock Mandrel and Prong together, is sometimes recovered in a single pull. How to Order: Product Code 14. Specify the Lock Mandrel type ( PORN for ROTR / ROTRN nipples; POXN for ROTX / ROTXN nipples), size, and desired Prong length. State whether keys are required. • DB Dump Bailer Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary DB Dump Bailer Assembly DB Dump Bailer Assembly The Rebco Dump Bailer is a pressure-activated fluid delivery tool designed to deposit precisely controlled volumes of treatment fluid, chemical solvents, acid, or other wellbore treatment agents at a specific depth within the tubing or casing string. The tool consists of a top sub with a fishing neck, a sealed barrel charged with treatment fluid at the surface, and a shear-disc piston mechanism at the barrel's lower end. The barrel is sealed at atmospheric pressure at the surface, isolating the treatment fluid from wellbore contact during the run-in phase. When the desired depth is reached, a pre-determined number of downward jar blows are applied at the surface to shear the internal release disc. Once the disc shears, a plunger is driven through it, opening a flow path from the barrel to the wellbore. The stored treatment fluid exits the barrel downward into the wellbore directly onto the target zone, subsurface device, or debris accumulation. The shear disc thickness is selected at the surface based on the wellbore pressure range encountered: thinner brass discs for lower-pressure wells and thicker discs for higher-pressure wells. Barrel sizes of 5 ft standard length are available across all OD sizes, and extension barrels can be stacked to increase delivery volume for large-scale treatment operations. The OD of the lower foot assembly should be matched to the device or zone upon which the fluid is to be deposited. Available in standard threaded connections, 1½"–4" OD. Extension barrels available. • ROTR & ROTL (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly | Rebco Oil Tools, Inc.

Glossary ROTR & ROTL (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly ROTR & ROTL (Bottom No-Go) Lock Mandrel Sub-Assembly The Rebco ROTR and ROTL are Bottom No-Go Lock Mandrel Sub-Assemblies, the bottom-referenced counterparts to the ROTG and ROTN . They are designed to be set in BR Landing Nipples and share the same External Fishing Neck and large flow area design as the ROTG and ROTN , making them suitable for high-volume completions. Collet-type locking fingers prevent upward movement, while the No-Go shoulders prevent downward travel. The ROTR is essentially a ROTL sub-assembly without the Packing Unit and Packing Mandrel; the ROTL includes the full Packing Unit for applications requiring a pack-off. Both are available in nominal sizes of 2 3/8" and 2 7/8", with seal bores from 1.781" to 2.250", and are constructed from Norm Alloy. Running and pulling tool requirements are the same as for the ROTG and ROTN family, using the ROTC-1 Running Tool with Shank BN-1, and the ROTRB Pulling Tool with Probe BN-1.
